Always something going on here!

A total of 24 full-time employees and more than 80 freelancers provide a diverse programme to promote youth welfare, culture, sports, music, art and care for the elderly. For several years, we have been advising and supporting the Heizhaus team and the non-profit association Urban Souls e.V. behind it on all digital issues. 

The Heizhaus has become a platform for many projects and groups. They can all present their current information online on a superordinate website. With the clearly laid out event calendar, interested parties can quickly and easily access the information they need. The new website appeals to a broad target group of senior citizens, children and young people as well as their accompanying persons. In close cooperation with the staff, we have developed a functional and contemporary online presence that meets all requirements.

  • Responsive website as an umbrella brand

    Since June 2021, the website of the Heizhaus Leipzig shines in a completely new splendour. Based on SULU CMS, we designed and developed the existing site from scratch. The website is easy for employees to update with new content and easy to access on all mobile devices. 

  • Bundled power

    The Heizhaus combines a large number of projects under one roof. Some of the projects already have their own website with an individual design and logo. All these projects were to be clearly arranged on the new website. For this purpose, there are different project areas that are presented under the "umbrella brand" and strengthen synergy effects.

  • Flexible project pages in a uniform design

    We found the solution in flexible project pages, with an individual logo but a uniform design. Accordion elements provide structured content. Each project can independently publish dates and blog posts.

  • Custom event system

    Events are an important pillar in the Heizhaus programme. The challenge lay in the wide range of weekly, regularly repeating dates (courses, workshops, ...) as well as individual events at several locations and holiday camps. Opening hours, workshop leaders and other dates can change or even be cancelled at short notice. All this information had to be presented clearly.  

    We found the solution in a specially designed and developed event system that allows each project to manage its own dates. There is a choice of several event types, categorisations and project links.

  • Special design elements

    The special footer element convinces with its curved shape and its content: In addition to the most important information, the number against grief and the number of the children's emergency service Leipzig are linked. 

  • Integration of social media 

    In order to meet the young people where they are, the integration of social media was particularly important. The icons are positioned in a highly visible way to ensure quick redirection, especially in the mobile version.
